Paul Furiosi, Jr., Executive Chef has been working in restaurants since he was 14 years old. He trained under his father, Paul Furiosi, a well-known Italian Chef, for many years. They worked together for years at Anthony’s Pier 9, a landmark restaurant in San Jose. After high school, Paul attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York and gained a thorough understanding of all aspects of the kitchen and menu development.
After graduating with honors from the CIA, Paul worked with David Asher, best known for his tenure as head chef at the Carnelian Room in the Bank of America building in San Francisco. Paul has had the pleasure of being head chef at landmark restaurants in Spokane, Pasadena and many in the Bay Area. He has had training and experience with Italian, French, Continental, Pacific Rim, Southwestern and traditional Steakhouses.
Paul’s passion is creating new and innovative dishes, with enticing mixtures of flavors and textures. Paul’s goal is to find ways to make traditional foods exciting and new, both for our new customers that experience the restaurant for the first time and for the “regulars” who have been a part of Th’ Bucket family for years.
Executive Chef Paul Furiosi, Jr. thanks you for coming in to enjoy our food.
He looks forward to serving you both the old favorites you come to love as well as adding some new dishes that will add to one of the largest menus around.
